22 March 2017 | Read time: 1 minute

Applications for the 2017 seed project funding round will close at 12 noon on 21 March.

We are looking for seed Project proposals involving ambitious research that is both high risk and potentially high-reward.  Successful proposals will clearly outline how the research could contribute to economic transformation in the longer term.

We welcome proposals from all physical sciences and engineering disciplines aligned with our research themes.

High quality applications with strong alignment to our IT, data analytics and modelling (ITDAM) and Vision mātauranga themes will be given priority.

We are likely to fund around 15 research projects up to $100,000 per project per annum for up to two years.
